Spark Engineer

Ziverge Inc is on the lookout for an accomplished Spark Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to spearhead our big data initiatives. This key role involves leveraging Apache Spark to develop, optimize, and maintain advanced data processing pipelines, playing a crucial role in the management and utilization of large-scale datasets. Responsibilities:

Lead the Development and Optimization of Big Data Processing Jobs: Utilize Apache Spark to build and refine data processing pipelines, enhancing efficiency and performance.
Implement Scalable Data Pipelines: Ensure the architecture is designed for scalability and performance, capable of handling increasing data volumes and complexity.
Monitor and Enhance Spark Applications: Continuously evaluate and improve the performance of Spark applications, driving innovation in our big data technologies.
Collaborate on Data Strategy: Work closely with cross-functional teams to contribute to our data strategy, integrating technical expertise with strategic insights.

Requirements & Skills:

Extensive Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience with Apache Spark and big data technologies, demonstrating a history of developing high-performance data processing solutions.
Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Scala, Java, or Python, and familiarity with cloud computing platforms, showcasing versatility and innovation in technical solutions.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Exceptional problem-solving skills, capable of addressing complex challenges and enhancing system performance.
Leadership and Communication: Outstanding leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide teams, articulate technical and strategic concepts, and foster collaboration.
